This web site has been/ is being built to document and supplement a college-level course in the history of science fiction film, taught by professors Elisa Kay Sparks and R. Barton Palmer at Clemson University in the Spring of 1998.

The main goal of this site is to deepen the coverage of science fiction film on the Internet by supplementing the many commericial and enthusiast sites on science fiction film with an academic site specializing in film criticism.
