Spring 1997
This computer collage of images centers on a picture of Julia Stephens, Woolf's mother, whose death when Woolf was only tweleve precipitated Virginia's first nervous breakdown. I inserted the image of Woolf's mother opening a garden gate into the middle of O'Keeffe's Music Pink and Blue. I have not yet taken this beyond the computer ibecause I am not yet satisfied with the image.
