I will be documenting my first transmission rebuild on this page.
Below are pictures of my first transmission disassembly. Unfortunately, the 1979 Accord transmission, pictured below, was not rebuildable due to extensive damage caused by a countershaft bearing failure.
Notice the large pile of metal which was extracted from the case in the last picture. Shame the focus wasn't better. It was very impressive.
